Dawnville Daily Pills
Modern existence can be exhausting. From relentless media bombardment to social influencer fatigue, we often find ourselves in an endless cycle of digital noise. Research has shown that daily exposure to virtu-stressors contributes to a Consumption-Induced Phasal Anomoly (Fig. 1.) that, if left untreated, can lead to severe cases of Generalized Modern Existence Disorder (GMED), a terrible affliction that affects nearly 8 billion people worldwide.
The virtu-scientists and digi-pharmacologists at the Dawnville Center of Psychiatric Research have devised an ingenious solution to combat GMED: Dawnville Daily Pills. Each NFT pill has been carefully generated as a specific daily antiphase to combat the spread of GMED, and each one is as unique as the day it was created (Fig.2.). How It Works
Each day, our algorithm gathers content from an array of virtu-stressors, grouped into four subcategories: News Media, Popular culture, Financial Markets, and Weather Reports. Sentiment analysis scores are generated for each subcategory and mapped to a color-emotion spectrum before being inverted to form specific antiphase values which are then applied to the newly-minted NFT daily pill (Fig. 2.).
Minting
New NFT pills are minted once every day, beginning on January 1, 2022. These pills each represent an inversion of the day’s sentiments as gathered by our algorithm. They are given names, individual characteristics, and a permanent home on the Etherium blockchain where they can be purchased, collected, traded, and loved for the rest of time.
